Not far from Latakia are the relaxing resorts of Slunfeh.

This is another resort set in the mountains at about 60 Km from Latakia. It is very appreciated by the locals, usually by people from the northern cities (as the Southerners have Bloudan and the Barada Valley) for its high 1200 meter altitude. However, it is still quite small and undeveloped and gets extremely crowded in mid summer
