Vision

Our vision is to integrate our preserved Syrian heritage with our chosen culture and home: Canada.  We are committed to helping Syrian Canadians become good, productive part of their adopted society.  We are also committed to educating Canadians on our Syrian culture, history, language, and heritage. 

Mission

The Mission of Syria Today Web Site in Toronto- Canada, is to cultivate and enrich the Syrian and the Canadian identities and to foster communal harmony by providing assistance to Syrian Canadians, providing information about the Syrian and the Canadian cultures to fellow knowledge seekers, and facilitating of recreational activities to members and guests. 

Strategies  

* Provide a unique service centre for all members of our community.

* Propagate the Syrian culture in Canada by information dissemination and cultural events.

*  Actively portray our Syrian Arabic culture and heritage by being good citizens and active members of the community.

*  Assist new immigrants assimilate into the Canadian culture and society.

*  Enforce our principals of: pride, unity, brotherhood, and integrity throughout the Arabic Community.

*  Develop and enforce relations with ethnic communities throughout Ontario and Canada.

*  Facilitate social gatherings within the Syrian community and amongst other communities. 

*  Increase awareness of the Syrian community in Ontario in particular, and Canada in general.
